As an important and appreciated DSC Member, you are cordially invited to attend our inaugural DSC Conservation Champion’s Breakfast being held the morning of January 11 at DSC Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. This special event will take place from 7 – 9 a.m. in the International Ballroom of the incredible Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park. As a member, you have pledged your support for DSC, and we want to show our appreciation for your support by hosting this exclusive member’s event.
The Conservation Champion’s Breakfast offers an amazing lineup for those in attendance:
- Guest Speaker – International conservation leader Shane Mahoney with Conservation Visions will discuss the importance of the conservation community remaining adaptive during a time when social and ecological pressures are evolving at such a fast pace. The time is fertile for DSC to embrace these opportunities of change and redefine its best path forward to deploy the organization’s mission that benefits the sustainable health of wild things and wild places, as well as those who depend on these natural resources. A highly acclaimed speaker, writer, historian, and conservationist, Shane is one of the most sought-after keynote speakers in the conservation arena.
- Extensive Silent Auction – We have an incredible assembly of over 20 items including some that are only available at this auction.
- Incredible Live Auction – You are going to be amazed when you review the tremendous line-up of approximately 30 live auction items that include international and domestic hunting and fishing packages, jewelry, art, guns, and a beautiful fur coat.
- Outstanding Door Prizes – By attending, you will have a chance at having your name drawn for five very nice door prizes, including a Weatherby Orion® SxS 20 Gauge Shotgun. You must be registered and in-person at the Conservation Champions Breakfast to be eligible for this drawing.
- Tasty Food Selection – Attendees will enjoy an elaborate breakfast buffet that will provide a savory selection of items that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.
