Houston Safari Club Creates Airline Petition

Houston Safari Club has created a petition this week regarding the recent airline ban on trophy shipping. Signing the petition shows your support for the facts behind sustainable hunting practices.

“Hunting-related tourism is a primary source of funding for wildlife agencies and personnel, anti-poaching efforts, habitat preservation and species enrichment. Impairing the transport of legally harvested animals will cause a drastic reduction in consumer travel and thus a critical source of conservation support. In the end, transportation bans will directly affect the future of wildlife and economies on a local and global level.”

So far, the petition has been signed by 673 individuals. We hope this form will be signed by all members of DSC, as well as any individuals that are advocates of conservation through hunting. Please take the time to sign the petition and share it with others. Hopefully the airliners will hear the other side of the story.
