EP: 201 of DSC Campfires with Larry Weishuhn is Now Available!

If ever you have tasted food cooked in a Dutch Oven, you already know every and anything cooked such a cast iron pan with a lid tastes better than any other way you might be able to prepare that same dish. Cast Iron pots and cooking go back many, many years but was popularized by the “Old West” chuckwagon cooks who traveled with the cattle drivers to keep the outfit’s cowboys fed.

Recently there has been a resurgence in interest in cooking all manner of food in Dutch Ovens.

Larry recently caught up with Beth Jones who with her husband is much involved with Dutch Oven cooking and the Lone Start Dutch Oven Society to learn more about cooking in these iconic pots and pans.
