Lubbock Sportsman’s Club, a chapter of DSC, is one of over a dozen partners working with the Texas Bighorn Society (TBS). Lubbock Sportsman’s Club has generously supported TBS since the Chapter’s inception in 2015. To date, the total of their financial contribution is north of $120,000, of which, every penny has been spent restoring or improving Desert Bighorn Sheep habitat in Texas.
In early March, Tim Gafford (President of Lubbock Sportsman’s Club), Nate Watson (DSC Membership and Volunteer Coordinator), and Carson Keys (DSC Chapter Coordinator) traveled north of Van Horn, TX to experience first-hand what hard work and great conservation partnership looks like.
